The Artemis story begins with early pioneers of crypto fundamental investing: Vincent Jow and James Ho at Modular Capital, a crypto investment firm.
When we spoke with them as they raised their fund, they described the pain around manually grabbing data on L1/L2s from 10+ different sites and getting data that was comparable in one place. There weren’t existing tools in the market to get the metrics that matter in crypto into dashboards or Excel or Google Sheet in a no-code way.
We learned that large hedge funds are building massive internal systems to track developer activity, chain, dapp activity but newer fund managers and every day investors didn’t have access to same tooling.
For crypto to reach its full potential, we realized we need to build a crypto data platform that anyone can use.
Artemis stands for leveling the playing field for crypto investing so that anyone can do the research and analysis they want to figure out what liquid tokens to buy and why. We're bending the arc of crypto investing to make it more fair, transparent and accessible to everyone.
